Justin Doe – Professional Guitarist, Performer, and Music Producer
Based out of Columbus, OH, Justin Doe is a versatile and accomplished professional guitarist known for his dynamic performances and technical proficiency. A graduate of the University of Colorado Denver with a bachelor’s degree in Music Performance, Justin has honed his craft through years of dedicated practice and diverse musical experiences.
Educated in jazz, Justin is well-versed in a wide range of genres, including funk, acoustic, blues, rock, country, and metal. This extensive musical knowledge allows him to seamlessly adapt his playing style to fit any musical context, making him a sought-after guitarist for various projects and collaborations.
Currently, Justin is a resident guitarist at Shadowbox Live, where he captivates audiences with his skillful playing and stage presence. Justin has seen the stage with a number of musical acts in the Columbus scene including Chuck Starr, Shake Machine, and Magnetic. His musical journey has also seen him as a member of several notable bands, including Left Hand Shakes, Kodak Connection, and Jukebox Skeleton. Each of these collaborations has allowed Justin to explore different genres and styles, enriching his musical repertoire.
In addition to his performance career, Justin has dedicated the past 10 years to teaching music at various music academies. He offers lessons for guitar, bass guitar, cello, ukulele, and beginner piano. Currently, he is an instructor at Delaware Music Center and also provides private virtual lessons, sharing his passion and expertise with students of all ages and skill levels.
Through DoeFi Productions, Justin has also established himself as a talented music producer, working with artists such as MPort, Joeyne, Drew Stevens, Madi Shearer, ZellaKay, and Jukebox Skeleton. His experience as a session guitarist further enhances his production skills, allowing him to contribute to a wide range of musical projects. Justin is currently expanding his catalogue of sync-ready music through That Pitch to be placed in music libraries, showcasing his versatility and creativity in the realm of music production.
